Assessment Services

Print fleet discovery and analysis using industry leading tools and methodology.  Available as a stand-alone fixed price service, the aim is to compile an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) or Asset Register showing what devices are where, what they are producing, what they cost and what the environmental impact is.  Business processes are also investigated to ensure a complete picture of the ‘As-Is’ situation is built in preparation for design of the best possible solution to meet the current and future business needs.

Solution Design

From the data gathered during the Assessment phase we produce scenarios that optimise the print fleet along with financial and environmental data to support the business case.  Print strategy documents can be prepared and service design formulated. Processes written to comply with the ITIL v3 framework to cover all required functions.

We will work with your Procurement and IT teams to ensure the right specifications are included for devices, fleet management system, print management system and services to ensure the solution tendered for matches the needs of your organisation.

Transition – Project Management

Implementing a Managed Print Service can be a major change to the way you organisation operates.  Proper project management to ensure each area is prepared, the infrastructure to support the solution is in place, all compliance issues have been addressed and even that old devices are disposed of correctly and in compliance with WEEE directives is of prime importance to the success of the project.

iDocuflow can provide Project Managers to make sure everything goes smoothly and to budget.  We will manage any third parties involved and co-ordinate internal resources to minimise disruption and time to complete.  The prime objective being to optimise your Return On Investment (ROI).

Continuous Assessment

It should be the aim of any managed service that it should be as fresh and appropriate on the last day of the contract as it was on the first.  It is also part of ITIL v3 Framework best practice that all services should be continuously reviewed to ensure they continue to deliver value to the business and, if they don’t, are redesigned.  iDocuFlow offers ongoing assessment services to measure the effect of redesigned services and suggest areas of improvement or concern.
